meet Nombeah aka Nabeah
Bookish and always hungry
Hey y’all! I’m Nabeah Wahab. A Canadian born Pakistani who’s held onto her roots pretty well (or so I say) and is proudly Muslim. I’ve been in love with cooking since I was a child helping out my mom in the kitchen and it’s something that has stuck with me since.
My mom is one of the best cooks I know and having been raised with such delicious food has blown my standards through the roof. We never really ate out much since my mom made most of everything herself; a trait then passed on to me. Almost every time I eat out I think to myself, “Can I make this at home, better and cheaper?” The answer is often: Yes. Yes I can.
Thus, Nombeah was created. Trying new food, coming up with new ideas, developing and experimenting recipes is a passion of mine and therapeutic (is that weird?). It’s where my creativity flows and I feel most at home. I’m so happy to be able to share this with you guys!
Get to know me!
